Come out and join your fellow Wheelmen who operate the GAT's Run-to-Bike Transition at the Guy West Bridge.
Volunteers are needed for both the set-up on Friday, July 14th, and race day on Saturday, July 15th. Set-up usually starts around 8:00 AM and finishes about 11:00 AM. Race day starts a little earlier with the earliest person (Fred Turner), myself and one other person getting things ready to go and monitoring the bike racks. Most volunteers would need to be at the site about 7:30 AM. There are some adjustments that will need to be made for the run-to-bike transition area and the GAT committee is working on these changes.
Please contact Tom Gardner at tbgardner@surewest.net, 916-393-3993, 916-230-2752 (cell), if you would like to help this year and your job preference, and, if you want to help on Friday, Saturday or both days.

Description: The club’s Annual Picnic Ride starts at 9:00 a.m. and the BBQ-ing will start around 11:30 a.m.
The club is providing all the food so you don’t need to do a thing….except get that RSVP into to Tim Koch if you haven’t already – RSVP DUE ASAP. Just shoot him an email (mtkoch44@aol.com) with yes/no, how many people, etc. We need to know how many so that there is enough deliciousness to go around! If you have a special dish that you would like to bring then please do but it is optional.
Don’t forget to wear your Wheelmen apparel – kit, hat, socks, swimsuit, whatever!!
Please RSVP by Thursday night (Oct. 12). It's the only way to know how much food to buy. Those who RSVP-ed will be served first from the BBQ.
