       Tim Koch916-952-9026, mtkoch44@aol.com

    Description:
Look for Tom Goodwin's purple tricycle with the safety flags and Tim will be near by. The pace will be between 10-12 mph.  No maps will be furnished on this ride.  We will ride as a group and wait for the slowest rider.  We will travel on roads with light traffic but there will be a lot of turns as lightly traveled roads are not straight.  This is a great ride for a neighbor who wants to get started in bicycling, a spouse who would like to start bicycling or an older Wheelmen looking for a slower pace.  We will stop at around 20 miles for brunch at a restaurant to do more socializing on the social ride.  For beginners, Tim will educate them on how to ride safely on the roads, the tricks on how traffic lights work for bicyclists, the use of a mirror to see traffic coming up from behind and more.
