Both routes start in the Gold River Shopping Center Parking lot in front of the ex-Rite Aid store and head to Pause Coffee in Loomis via familiar foothill roads. The short route takes a more direct out-and-back route to the coffee shop, while the long route detours, adding extra mileage and climbing.
