Description: Don't forget about the Ride Around Lake Tahoe this Wednesday, September 6! This ride is a great training opportunity for folks prepping for Italy but beyond that it is just a great ride...and it is Monica P's birthday celebration ride! This is your chance to take in the glory of Tahoe via bike, a mere 72 mile ride. Ride starts at 9:30AM from the Tahoe City Transit Center (water, restrooms and plenty of parking available). The Sierra Foothills Cycling Club will br there, too!

Note: Caltrans is performing emergency repairs on I80 so check traffic conditions and leave some extra time in your travel schedule.

Our route is a clockwise loop around the lake. Planned regroups near Sand Harbor mile 20 (water & relief available), at top of Spooner Jct mile 26 (no services), at mile 41 in South Lake Tahoe Safeway Supermarket (all services available), and at mile 52 Emerald Bay (water & relief available). This ride is so gorgeous that you may want to add more stops just to take it all in!

After the ride join us for food, drink, and conversation at the Bridgetender Tavern & Grill- it's only a few steps from the Transit Center.
