Description: We’re going to Italy! Ride dates Sept 18th-Oct 1st. Optional 3rd week ending Oct 8th. Fly in to Bologna (BLQ) and out of Rome (FCO).

Here is the description of each week of the trip.
1st week Sept 18-24th
Bus from Bologna Airport to San Marino.
Stay 2 nights at the 4-star Grand Hotel San Marino.
Welcome drink and presentation of the services/hotel.
Delivery of road bikes or E-Bike gravel. 3 expert guides.
1st bike tour San Marino to San Leo and back 53Km
Transfer by bike San Marino to Gabicce Mare. 5 nights at Hotel Alexander
Welcome drink and presentation of the bike tours.
Laundry service for bike garments. Mechanic for minor repairs
Outdoor swimming pool and heated whirlpool
Local wine and mineral water at dinner
Learn the history and prepare Piadina Romagnola, and of course, eat it.

2nd week Sept 25th- Oct 1st
2 nights at Hotel Alexandar
Bike tour Frossombrone
Excursion to Gradara Castle, then to the restaurant la Casaccia for a course in hand made pasta (and eating it).
On Sept 26th enjoy a BBQ, then everyone at the bar to dance with live music.
Transfer by bikes 75Km to Senigalla with luggage transported by van for
2 nights Halfboard at 3 stars Hotel Belsit. Wine & mineral water at dinner.
Laundry service for bike clothes.
Bike tour Senigallia 50Km, also taste excellent homemade ice cream!
Transfer by bikes to Gubbio 90Km with luggage by van.
2 nights at 4-star Park Hotel Al Cappiccini. Welcome drink. 1st dinner in hotel, 2nd dinner at the Semonte Winery with wine tasting.
Visit the historic center of Gubbio. Indoor swimming pool, Spa and Aquatherapy.
Transfer by bikes to Assisi 55Km, luggage by van
1 night at 4-star Hotel Valle Di Assisi

For those who are only going for two weeks, it ends here in Assisi. You will transfer by minibus to Rome 170Km, Leonardo da Vinci airport.
3rd week Oct 2nd-Oct 8th
1 night Hotel Valle Di Assisi. Visit the wine cellar and tasting
Bike rental for third week.
Bike tour in Montefalco 60Km
Transfer by bike to Bolsena Lake 110Km
Bus with bike trailer for luggage transport (will follow us to Rome)
3 nights 5-star Ludwig Boutique Hotel.
“Suite Classic” with balcony overlooking the lake.
Go by bus to the beautiful city of Umbria and enjoy a light lunch.
Bike tour “Tour of the Bolsena Lake 53Km and stop in Capodimonte.
Transfer by bus and bike to Campagnano.
From Campagnano we take the bikes toward Rome, 55Km. At Castel Giubileo we take the cycle path that runs along the Tibet River, and arrive at San Pietro 15Km. We’ll take a group photo in the main square of Vatican City.
From here, with the bus and bikes on trailer, we’ll go to the hotel.
3 nights at 4-star Hotel Villa Pamphili. Rest Day visit of Rome, Vatican with guide, Piazza Novona, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna and shopping in via Condotti and via Frattina.
Bike tour with guides Tyrrhenian Coast and Tolfa 65Km
A fish lunch in Furbara
Last evening at the Pamphlli Terrace: admire the fantastic panorama, drink, eat gourmet finger food and listen to good music.
Oct 9th Depart by bus to the Leonardo da Vinci Airport.

PS: There might be slight changes, since this is early. Roberto has worked to get the prices down. Like here, costs have risen in Europe as well. We are staying more days at Gabicce to help counter the higher costs of the other hotels. Also, some of the rides could change or be enhanced.
Bring your own pedals. You can bring your own saddle, but not mandatory.
