Description: Sign in at the junction of U St & Front St, across from CA Auto Museum. U St is a cul-de-sac and serves as the entrance to the PG&E truck yard. Security cameras are present. Homeless traffic is sparse in this area. Free parking is on U St or at the auto museum lot across the street. Ride pace 15-17 mph. We will cross the Capitol Bridge, wind our way through Old West Sac and onto the River Rd to Woodland. Approaching Woodland there will be a bathroom break around the 10 mile mark at Elkhorn Regional Park. Our Rest & Refuel break will be at Morgan Mill Coffee in downtown Woodland. After the break we ride to Davis, mostly on country roads SW of Woodland. We will return via Covell Rd, the causeway, and West Cap Ave to the start. Distance: about 50 miles.
