Ride: 41.7 Flat Casual Leader: Tom Adams, 916-764-7019, tcadams54@yahoo.com Description: This route to Old Fair Oaks and back is a narrow loop that is on and off the American River Bike Trail. The bike trail is more scenic; the streets are less crowded. From Discovery Park, we get off the bike trail at Sac State and back on again at William Pond Park. Crossing over the American River into Old Fair Oaks, we will regroup and refuel at one of several options there (mile 21). Instead of going back on the bike trail from Fair Oaks, we travel through neighborhoods to Hagan Park. Back on the trail heading west, we get off again at Sac State and back to Discovery on streets.
