Description: Gold River to Newcastle Produce - After we get to Orangevale via the bike trail, we snake over to Eureka Road from Barton. After a short stint on Auburn Folsom, we take Laird, Val Verde, and then Penryn. Turning right on Rock Springs, we end up on Newcastle Road, stopping to refuel and regroup at Newcastle Produce (mile 26). Coming back, we head down Taylor and then Ripley, which has been resurfaced, before turning on King and then Auburn Folsom. The standard descent from there. 2328 feet.
