Description: On this flat route, we regroup and refuel at Cafe Latte (mile 25-ish) before returning to Sacramento. To begin, we take the bike trail through Old Sacramento. We cross the Tower Bridge, get on the River Walk Trail in West Sacramento, and take the Village Parkway to Gregory Ave. From South River Rd, we take Babel Slough Rd to Jefferson Blvd. We turn east and pass through Clarksburg, travel on the west side and then the east side of the Sacramento River to Cafe Latte, using bike trails where we can, and then back to Discovery through Old Sacramento. Pace: 14 to 17 mph.
