Ride Description: From the Rotary Park parking lot in Winters, we head west on Putah Creek Rd. After a short climb on Pleasant Valley Rd, we continue west on Hwy 128. We will regroup at the intersection of Hwy 128 and Hwy 121, if not beforehand, too. Our destination is Turtle Rock Bar (mile 26.8) on Hwy 128, home of the “world famous” Turtle Rock egg roll! Lots of outdoor seating. You have to buy water, soft drinks, etc. That’s our turn-around point. Plan on carrying enough water to get there. Good shoulders on the route. Optional route: It's an out-and-back route, so you can turn around any time. There is a café and market on 128 about 10 miles from Winters, but that’s it for refueling or water, other than Turtle Rock.
