Description:      Celebrate the re-opening of scenic Highway 1 with a sagged camping ride from the San Jose Amtrak Station to the Adelaide Inn for the Paso Robles Zodiac .
Sept. 27: Sacramento Valley Amtrak Station. Board Train # 525 ( 6:30 am ) to San Jose Diridon Station to meet sag for camping gear at 9:30 am.
Cycle to Sunset State Beach Campground via the Los Gatos Creek Trail (52 miles - 2861 ft. climbing ). Showers at campground. Pizza and beer for dinner. Breakfast at Moss Landing Cafe (12 miles).
Sept. 28: Cycle to Pfieffer -Big Sur State Park Campground (66 miles - 3015 ft. climbing). Showers & restaurant at campground & nearby for dinner. Breakfast at Deetjens Big Sur Inn (4.7 miles)
Sept.29: Cycle to Plaskett Creek State Campground (35 miles - 3156 ft. climbing). Sand Dollar Beach just across the highway . Solar showers are only option. Treebones Cafe ($$$- 3 miles) & Gorda Cafe (3.7 miles) for dinner & breakfast .
Sept. 30: Cycle to Cayucos (52 miles - 2874 ft. climbing). Lots of lunch places
Sag to Adelaide Inn or cycle 25 miles & climb another 3130 ft. to Adelaide Inn.
Oct.1- 4th at Adelaide Inn for Paso Robles Zodiac.
Oct.4: Cycle 1.6 miles to Paso Robles Intermodal Station for 7:30 am Amtrak bus departing for Hanford Amtrak Station & connecting train to Stockton Station & connecting Amtrak bus to Sacramento Valley Station to meet sag with camping gear at 2:25 pm.
